Yorkie Lane: Past puppies

Things you should know about our family and the puppy that you are going to Purchase.

Our Mammas and babies are kept under night servalence for the first three nights with either myself or my daughter sleeping on the couch beside them. If all is well then we each take one shift for the next week to check on them just to make sure they are warm and all is well, mamma might need a potty break or a drink and this way she gets it.

They are watched and handled from birth. We Keep the mamma and puppies confined for the first three weeks in a wire pen that is perfect for newborn babies to be safe and warm. Mamma of coarse gets to spend time out of the nest and can come and go as she pleases. For the first two weeks she mostly wants to potty get a drink, eat, get some love and go right back to her little family.

After they start to get up on their legs to move around we move them to a swimming pool where Mamma can come and go and they can see her and us. This way they can get to know everyone and start socializing. Having puppies in a swimming pool in our living room or family room is allot of fun for us, as we can snag them as we go by and take them with us to play with...lol

They are starting to get curious at about 4 weeks old and nosing around and chewing on toys getting in and out of their beds, lots of tumbling with siblings starts at this age. Puppies are never allowed on the bare floor or carpet till they have their first shots. Humans can bring parvo germs and other life threatening germs in on their feet, so puppies have their own hand made quilts that they can play on.We give them thier first vaccination and a worming at 5 weeks of age we do not give lepto as a first time vaccination we do give it the second time around.

All of our puppies are Healthy, Happy Loved, and well Socialized as well as started on potty training and are eating on their own when they go to their new homes .

At six weeks of age our puppies go to the Vet for a Final Checkup and just to make sure that all is well.
All paperwork will be in your folder.

When you Reserve your new puppy I will start to send you all kinds of information on Yorshire Terrier puppies also I will send you updated pictures every few days of your baby for your scrapbook and keep you posted on his or her progress!

My support as a breeder doesn't stop when you buy the puppy I am still avaiable thru email and by phone for any help or questions you may have.

I would like to give a letter of recommendation for Pamela Lundgren. I purchased a teacup Yorkshire Terrier puppy from her the end of May 2009.

Pam gave me lots of written information for my puppy, as well as verbal, on how to care for a teacup. She let me know the puppy should weigh 2 pounds when full grown. Because these small breeds require so much care due to their small size, she let me know how he had been cared for, what I could expect, and what to watch for. She was very helpful with all of these areas. After having my puppy for a month, he got sick. (Just a normal flu type thing) I called Pam and she helped me through that. Anytime I have had a question, I have called, and she has always been very helpful. Her knowledge is invaluable. She also showed me pictures of different ways to groom a yorkie, so I would have an idea of how I might want mine. Pam is very much in tune with her dogs and their needs. She is very careful to make sure they go to good homes. She also gives a health guarantee on each one.

My puppy was in excellent health, and current on immunizations and worming. He did achieve a weight of 2 lbs. 4 oz. He is still in excellent health and lots of fun. We adore him. He came with a basket filled with his blanket, paperwork, and toys. The blanket was one with the scent of her siblings and mother, to help adjust with the transition of being away from them. I, wholeheartedly, recommend Pam and one of her puppies to anyone. You will be 100% satisfied!

I purchased the cutest, most loveable dog in the world from Pam. Pam is an honest person to deal with, easy to talk with, and a great person . I can send pictures via email of my little dog lundyn Grace, just to let her know how she is doing. in fact i love Lundyn so much i'm going to buy another dog from her. Thank you so much for all you have done and did. You really educated me, helped to prepare and feel prepared. I spoke with about 5 "breeders" that had Shih Tzus for sale but you were the only one that I felt really cared about ALL of her dogs, not just the all mighty $. You shared with me so many tips that have made our first week just wonderful. Things are going just great!!! And I am not exaggerating. She is a complete doll. We are all in love with her, in fact so is the whole neighborhood. Her potty training is going very well. She has only had one accident and that was our neglect, lucky for us on the tile! Hence, she now has a bow with jingle bells on so we can hear her when she is done napping. She does not whine when we put her to bed in the kennel at night and knows that if she needs a nap her bed is all hers. The kids are very helpful and are teaching her very well.

Her name is Quiche Lorraine (of course we just call her Quiche or Quichie)
She loves to sleep on her back in the evening hours, have her belly rubbed and follow me everywhere, again the bells are handy.

It is my pleasure to recommend Pam Lundgren’s Dog Breeding service for bringing me, my healthy and happy puppy. Pam sent me a photo of Kamu my little Yorkie Poodle when I called to inquire about him, I put him up as my screen saver on my computer and by the next day his eyes were speaking to me. I never knew how much I would receive when I made a decision to say yes,.
I believe, “Kamu,” was close to 10 weeks old when we were united.

I was at the park this evening with Kamu and was throwing a stick twice the length of his body, he has such spirit he wasn’t challenged by the size at all, he just kept fetching and bringing it back.
Along with being so grateful for him, as I watched him I thought of Pam and how pleased she’d be to see what a sweet and also rough and ready little guy he is…he is a serious “player” …..we socialize with 5 or 6 other dogs almost every evening, and he gets them all going, he is the smallest and he runs jumps and rolls with the big dogs and hold his own…mostly out runs them. I am proud to say he is the star …everyone loves Kamu!
I still think of Pam in relation to Kamu for the good start she gave him and the professional follow through, here it is about 4mos later and I have the assurance and comfort of knowing she is still available if I need advice or have question.
It has been an overall positive experience working with Pam Lundgren. I never doubted her knowledge and character. Time has proven my first impression to be true, and so continues my gratitude.

Hello Pam, We wanted to let you know that we all made it home safe and sound and so did the puppy. The girls are in total love, they've named her "Millie" they voted, it was cute. She's stolen our hearts and is soooo smart! She whines whenever she's got to go outside and we've been taking her out through the night every two hours. She hasn't had an accident (yet) so, if you have any other tips or info regarding the breed, let me know. I wish I knew more about small breeds but it's already so fun! We went ahead and got the Kirkland food, it was the same as the expensive stuff at the Pet store :) We'll look forward to that info you talked about sending! Talk with you later.

Letter of Reference for a T"cup

I recently purchased a yorkie from this breeder. She is a beautiful little girl just as Pam said she was. Tiny in size as I was told, she was shipped without any problems. Pam is excellent to work with she is true to her word she has quality puppies beautiful coats tiny in size just as she said. I am very please with my puppy purchased from her and I if I was to purchase another yorkie I would definitely buy from Pam.
